President Liz Stuart Discusses Unfilled Vacancies in Ontario Schools on CBC Radio

On Wednesday, April 11, President Liz Stuart was a featured guest on CBC Radio’s “Metro Morning,” hosted by Matt Galloway. President Stuart was interviewed alongside Rory McGuckin, Director of Education with the Toronto Catholic District School Board.

During the segment, President Stuart offered her thoughts on recent media stories concerning unfilled teaching vacancies in Ontario schools. She noted that the issue is affecting schools across the province, both in Catholic and secular boards, and stressed the need for teacher affiliates to work with boards, using common data, in order to find meaningful solutions.
