The officers of the Provincial Executive are elected by delegates at the Annual General Meeting. The duties of the Provincial Executive are to administer the affairs of the Association in accordance with our Constitution, by-laws, policies, procedures, and directives, and to make recommendations to the Ontario Teachers’ Federation (OTF).
Composed of the President, Past-President, First, Second and Third Vice-Presidents, Treasurer, two Councillors, OTF Table Officer, General Secretary, and Deputy General Secretary, the Provincial Executive meets once a month.
The President and the OTF Table Officer are elected for two-year terms. The other members are elected for one-year terms.
Executive members also serve on provincial committees.
