The Association invites members who identify as First Nations, Métis, and Inuit to join us for our first Indigenous Gathering.
This gathering is an opportunity for Indigenous members to come together in a space grounded in connection, dialogue, belonging, and collective reflection. It is intended specifically for OECTA members who identify as Indigenous peoples from Turtle Island.
To help honor and protect the purpose of this gathering as an Indigenous-only space, registration includes a brief Indigenous identity attestation. This is part of OECTA’s Indigenous Authentication Process and provides a respectful way for members to affirm their Indigenous identity when registering. The process is intended to support the integrity of the gathering and ensure that the space remains centered on the experiences and voices of Indigenous members.
